We need to make sure we sign up for parts! I will be doing SC and LC

My DeMolay Brothers,

On December 4, The Northern Region of Virginia will hold a DeMolay class in Honor of Dad Mack Elliott. The Initiatory and DeMolay degrees will be performed at the George Washington Masonic Memorial beginning at 2pm. The degrees will be followed by a dinner and plans are being made for a VA State Association dance that evening in Northern VA.

These degrees will not be your typical degrees. We want the the best of the best to perform every part from MC, to 7th Preceptor and DeMolay to the Senior Inquisitor's scribe (yes I said the Inquisitor's scribe). There will be music and full production quality to all of the ceremonies. No, this will not be your typical degree, this will be something that has not been seen in quite some time.

We need all parts, including guys to arrange the room and run the music for the degrees. Any DeMolay from VA, DC and MD will be welcome to join this elite team. There will be on-line practices using skype and at least two live practices before the ceremony on the weekend. We also want newer members to participate in this degree in non-speaking parts like guards and scribes in the DeMolay degree. The number of guards and scribes is only limited by the number of costumes we can get our hands on.

Now, do you think you can play a role in something special? Are you up to a challenge to perform degrees better than you have seen before? Then you are challenged to reply to this email by Sunday night at 7pm. At a Skype call early next week, we will review the expectations for these degrees, assign parts and listen to some of the music that will accompany the degrees. If there are multiple requests for a part, there will be try outs for the part - we want the best!
